Calling All Camp Gravatt Alumni!
Are you a former Camp Gravatt camper, volunteer, or staff member? Do you still keep copies of your Chigger Chatter? Look for Dr. Noid to come busting in at mealtime? Sing Shalom and other camp songs in the shower? Miss your camp friends and wish you could go back to visit? Want to give back to this special place full of fond memories?
Then join the Shalom Circle, Gravatt’s Alumni Association for people just like you.
What is the Shalom Circle?
The purpose of the Shalom Circle - Camp Gravatt's Alumni Association - is to provide opportunities for former staff, volunteers, and campers to fellowship with one another and give back to the place in the woods that holds a place in our hearts.
Who can join?
Anyone who has been - or currently is - a camper, volunteer, or summer staff member can join the Shalom Circle.
What does my membership include?
As a member of the Shalom Circle, you will be invited every June to meet current camp staff and help get ready for camp. You will also receive invitations to local members-only events to visit with and to meet other former campers and staff members who went to camp around the time that you did.
When you join the Shalom Circle, you will receive an exclusive bumper sticker (updated annually), 10% off all Gravatt merchandise purchased in person, e-news, and invitations to alumni events.
How much does it cost?
The Shalom Circle Individual Membership costs $25 a year. The Shalom Circle Sustaining Membership costs $100 a year and also makes you a “Friend of Gravatt” in addition to all of the benefits that come with the Standard Membership. Your membership donation is tax deductible and supports summer camp programs.
