What drew you to Gravatt originally, and what's kept you here since then?
I began working at Gravatt as an intern because I was looking for the tight camp community. It didn't take long to see that Gravatt was a very tight community of people that cared about creating a place for people! This longing to serve others is fostered so well and has kept me here.
What are 3 words you would use to describe Gravatt?
Friendly, Adventure, Home-y
If you had to eat one Gravatt meal, every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?
If you were a Gravatt animal, what would you be and why?
I'd most certainly be a chicken. Mostly because I've gotten very close to them over the years, but also because I feel they are very under-loved creatures!
What did you want to be growing up?
Growing up, I always wanted to be a Pastor of a church or a police officer, very differed fields, but the thing they have in common is that they both seek to help people. I love that I get to do that at Gravatt.
What is the one thing you can't live without?
What is your proudest moment at Gravatt?
Helping plan and run the logistics of the Eclipse Day. I'm mostly proud of our ropes and program staff! For some of them, it was their first day working an event!
