Summer Interns- Chloe Blake

Today, we'd like to introduce you to Chloe, our farm/program intern. So far, Chloe has been busy working in our garden, helping to raise our new chicks, and most recently representing Gravatt at the Farmer's Market in Aiken.  

Where are you from?
Fernley, Nevada

 What are you looking forward to this summer?
 I am looking forward to expanding my knowledge in growing produce organically and raising baby chickens. I am also excited to see Gravatt in full cirlce and full of summer campers.

Coffee

Why did you choose to intern at Gravatt this summer?
I chose Gravatt because last winter while I was working here with my Americorps NCCC I fell in love with the location and the atmosphere. I also found myself very interested in the farming program wanted to learn more about it.

Aside from eventually becoming an outdoors teacher, I have a goal to thru hike the PCT.
