Where/how do I access Campwise?

Please use a laptop or desktop computer to access Campwise. We suggest using Chrome as your browser. Please do not use your cell phone or tablet, even with Chrome, to access Campwise as we have found that there can be multiple errors and issues that arise when using a mobile device. We apologize for this inconvenience. If you are using your phone and you are receiving error notifications, please use a computer before calling the camp office.

Please access Campwise via the link on our web site ONLY. It is located in the top navigation bar under “CAMP” and then “LOGIN TO YOUR CAMPWISE ACCOUNT.” This is a unique link and will direct you to Gravatt’s unique registration portal. Do NOT go to the public Campwise web site as this will not allow you to register for Camp Gravatt.

How does online registration work?

Camp Gravatt registration is completed through Campwise, our online camp administration software. If you already have a Campwise account, then registration for 2024 will automatically be available for you beginning November 15th, 2023. It is a good idea to be sure you have your password and login information before November 15th so that you can avoid any unnecessary delays. First time parents/guardians should create a Campwise account before registration opens so that your process can be as smooth as possible. All documents, signatures, and paperwork are uploaded, completed, and/or signed directly in Campwise. No hard copies can be accepted. A $150 deposit is required to reserve your camper’s spot in the session of your choice.

PLEASE NOTE: When you initially register your camper in Campwise, you will need to complete the Online Forms and make the $150 deposit in order to reserve your child’s space. You may return to Campwise at a later date to upload/complete the Uploaded Forms that are required to complete your registration before May 17th, 2024.

Parents are encouraged to read our Campwise Registration Directions for directions and helpful tips on how to navigate the Campwise system. We know that Campwise can sometimes be challenging, and we want to make this process as easy as possible for you.

What if I have forgotten my login information and/or password, or if I am having trouble with Campwise?

All questions regarding your Campwise login credentials should be directed to Emily Smith at emily@campgravatt.org. She can help you recover/reset your password and assist with general issues that you may be having in Campwise. If you have forgotten your account information, please do not make a new account; please reach out to Emily first! You may also contact Camp Director Fletcher Spigner at fletch@campgravatt.org as well.

What happens after I register my camper?

Once you have completed your Online Forms and paid your $150 deposit, your camper will be officially registered. Additionally, you will need to send a copy of your driver's license, immunization records, Physician’s Exam, and insurance card. Please upload all paperwork and pay all remaining balances in your Campwise account on or before May 17th, 2024. Additional details about the paperwork required to be completed and/or uploaded in Campwise can be found in our Campwise Registration Directions.

What paperwork do I need to complete for my child to attend camp?

You will need to complete two sets of forms (Online Forms and Uploaded Forms), in Campwise in order to complete registration no later than May 17th, 2024. Specific directions on how to do this are included in our Campwise Registration Directions. We cannot accept emailed, faxed, or in-person delivery of paperwork. It must be correctly completed and/or uploaded to Campwise. Please know that all uploaded documents must be pdf or Word documents–not jpegs or image files. Campers will not be allowed to stay at camp without properly prepared and signed paperwork.

When is payment due?

When you initially register, a $150 deposit is required to reserve your camper’s spot in a session. Your remaining balance is due no later than May 17th, 2024, and failure to pay the balance by that date will result in your camper’s spot being forfeited and given to a camper on the waiting list. There are no exceptions to this policy.

Please note that we provide tiered pricing so that each family may decide the level at which they are the most comfortable committing to. In addition, the Mac Westmoreland Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to camper families who may not be able to afford all or part of the registration fee. Information about tiered pricing and scholarship qualification requirements can be found on the Financial Aid portion of our website.

Can I request my child be in a specific tent or cabin?

Gravatt's housing assignments are determined by age and we cannot accept requests for your camper to stay in a specific tent or a cabin.

Can I request that my child be in a tent or cabin with their friends?

We understand how important it is for your child to feel comfortable while they are at camp. Each camper may make a tent/cabin mate request in your Campwise account. Please note that our staff takes many factors into consideration while making tent/cabin assignments, with the most significant being age. Tent/cabin mate requests between campers who are several years apart in age cannot be honored. While we make every effort to honor your camper’s tent/cabin mate request, we cannot always guarantee it. Please know that our staff is trained in how to ensure that every camper feels comfortable in their tent/cabin, and that one of our goals at Camp Gravatt is for your camper to meet and make new friends!

What is your refund policy?

To reserve your child's place at Camp Gravatt, a $150 deposit is required at the time of registration. This deposit is nonrefundable, but may be transferred to another session for the same child or a sibling during the same summer (space permitting). The remaining balance of your camper’s fees are due no later than May 17th, 2024. After this date, your fees are nonrefundable, but we always strive to compassionately accommodate emergency situations as they arrive. In limited cases, and if space is available, we may be able to transfer your camper’s registration to another session. Should an emergency arise, please contact the Camp Director for more information.

Once your online registration is finalized, you will have access to both online and uploaded forms on your Campwise account. These forms must be completed every year. Campers will not be allowed to stay at camp without all paperwork on file.

All forms must be completed and uploaded by May 17th, 2024
